ACTIVITIES
The County of Wiltshire has much for visitors of all ages and interests. Walking and other outdoor activities are obviously one of its strongest assets. Set within the region Wessex, an area best known for the inspiration it gave to the writer Thomas Hardy, the picturesque chalk downlands patterned with old drovers paths and alive with wildlife make Wiltshire a beautiful walking region.
